Kate Cuthbert started reading romance at the age of 12, but only came out as a reader while writing her MA thesis about romance novels. The fantastic women in her focus groups inspired her to start BRRAddicts, Brisbane’s first readers group dedicated to romance fiction. She currently writes the Romance column for the Brisbane Courier-Mail, for which she won the Romance Writer’s of Australia ROMA award in 2007, and reviews for the website, All About Romance. She moved to Melbourne in 2007 where she currently runs the Dymocks HEART readers’ group.
